
Scott Ross is the Founder and President of RedRock Compensation Consulting. He specializes in equity compensation, with expertise in accounting and financial reporting for equity programs. With over 30 years of experience in both consulting and corporate roles, he helps companies evaluate, develop, and implement effective equity compensation strategies.
Before forming RedRock Compensation, Scott was a Senior Director at EMC Corporation, overseeing financial reporting for stock and equity compensation programs and international equity compliance. He also held senior consulting roles at Arthur Andersen, Deloitte Consulting, WilliamsMarston and Alliant Human Capital.
Scott is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Equity Professional (CEP). He earned a Master’s degree in Accounting from Long Island University – C.W. Post Campus and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Living in New York, he is an active member of his local Parents of Multiples chapter and enjoys soccer, outdoor activities, and spending time with his twins.
